This modern luxury hand-knotted carpet has a beautiful soft silky feel with a sheen that gives any room a luxurious appearance and feel. The high-quality viscose is made to last and is washable. It has a viscose pile and the black pattern is a low pile giving it a textured look.
It was dyed to the intended colours and hand-knotted onto a cotton base. The fringe tassels which usually show the cotton base are bound back. This gives the carpet a more modern look and the pile over the fringe protects the cotton from getting dirty. After several months of weaving by a team of three or four men, the carpet is then shaved and washed. When this is done the colour changes as seen in the actual photos taken at our showroom. The viscose in this case is soft and textured and comfortable to sit or lay on. Traffic on a hand-knotted carpet of this quality can be heavy and this carpet can easily be hand-washed at a special rate when joining our carpet lovers club for 12 months. Once the carpet has been placed in your room you will see the room feels more complete cosy and peaceful.
